As I have been surfing the internet for various bit of research for a new project I stumbled across this:

Apparently, according to people with glasses and books and read a lot, this might well be the best fit for the first ever rock n roll song! This is also a contender for the first ever guitar solo.

The song came out in the September of 1946, and was later recorded by Elvis and released as his first single on July 5th, 1954.
